What you'll do
- Participation in online meetings with the supervisor and team
- Assist in undertaking economic, econometric and statistical research and analysis on trade facilitation, customs, transit, new technologies in supply chains
- Assist the TFS team in the preparation and standardization of material for training modules of the UNCTAD Empowerment programme for National Trade Facilitation Committees (NTFCs) on trade facilitation and the management of the NTFCs
- Assist in preparing digital and paper-based products for promoting the Empowerment programme
- Assist and contribute in the preparation and organization of in-person and online workshops
- Prepare short drafts on specific issues as indicated by the supervisors, including development of charts, graphs

- Enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's level or equivalent)
- Computer literate in standard software applications
- Demonstrated keen interest in the work of the United Nations and have a personal commitment to the ideals of the Charter
- Demonstrated ability to successfully interact with individuals of different cultural backgrounds and beliefs
- Willingness to understand and be tolerant of differing opinions and views
