The role
Humanité & Inclusion (HI) is seeking a Social Worker to contribute to the implementation of health projects in Venezuela, focusing on community health, case management, and capacity building.
What you'll do
- Provide specialized knowledge to projects in line with sectoral technical frameworks and standards
- Contribute to the implementation of rehabilitation activities from a social and community perspective
- Identify and evaluate social needs of participants and their families through a comprehensive social assessment
- Develop and implement individualized social care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Provide direct or indirect care to users, prioritizing health, SMAPS, rehabilitation, and protection areas
What it takes
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related fields with experience working with people with disabilities
- 2 years of verifiable clinical/community experience in implementing health and/or social work projects
- Experience in field work with NGOs or aid agencies
- Experience in supervising, accompanying, and coordinating community agents or non-specialized personnel
- Solid knowledge of IASC guidelines for mental health and psychosocial support in emergencies and Psychological First Aid (PFA)
- Experience in differential and cross-cutting inclusive approaches for populations with disabilities, gender, and age diversity
