The role

UNICEF is seeking a Technical Report Writing Consultant for its Gender Equality section to support the compilation and drafting of key reports related to gender equality initiatives. The consultant will work remotely for 8.5 months, focusing on producing high-quality written products that meet institutional and interagency reporting obligations.

What you'll do

  • Support the compilation and drafting of key written products fulfilling institutional and interagency reporting obligations
  • Work on the report on the UN System-Wide Action Plan
  • Draft the Annual Report on progress on the Gender Equality Action Plan
  • Prepare the Global Annual Results Report

What it takes

  • Masters in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, International Relations/Affairs, Public Policy, or Communications
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience
  • Excellent writing skills with experience in gender-related reports
  • Experience in international agency or UN environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Familiarity with MS Windows, PowerPoint, SharePoint
