The role

The Technical Officer – Pharmacovigilance will support Member States to implement global smart pharmacovigilance strategies, including risk-based prioritization and safety communication. What you'll do

  • Facilitate regional uptake of global normative guidance and technical tools for smart pharmacovigilance
  • Support pharmacovigilance system assessments
  • Coordinate with WHO Collaborating Centres in the Region
  • Provide feedback to WHO Headquarters on the feasibility and contextualization of global PV metrics
  • Represent the Region in Programme for International Drug Monitoring (PIDM) forums
