The role
The incumbent will provide technical, organizational and coordination support in the integration and strengthening of NCD/CVD services, including training, patient education, and procurement of equipment, in Ukraine.
What you'll do
- Support the MoH and NHSU in selecting, mapping and conducting baseline assessments of PHC facilities
- Facilitate integration of NCD and CVD services into primary health care
- Support the development and dissemination of standardized patient and caregiver education materials
- Provide technical inputs to the needs assessment and procurement of equipment
- Support the integration of NCD services into routine PHC services
- Coordinate with the MoH, NHSU and other partners on the organization of working groups
What it takes
- First university degree in medicine, public health, epidemiology, or another medical field
- At least two years of experience in NCD management at the primary health care level
- Relevant experience in NCD prevention, surveillance and analysis, PHC management
- Expert knowledge of English and Ukrainian
- Desirable: Master degree in medicine, public health, epidemiology or another medical related field
- Desirable: Postgraduate training in NCD service delivery, primary health care or emergency/humanitarian health
