The role

The incumbent will support the design and development of learning programs, facilitate delivery of school-based and work-based learning programs, conduct assessments, build employer linkages, apply quality assurance tools, and collaborate with other instructors in a Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) setting.

What you'll do

  • Supports the design and development of learning programs and curricula
  • Facilitates the delivery of school-based and work-based learning programs
  • Designs student assessments both formative and summative assessments, practice-based and knowledge-based skills tests
  • Builds linkages with employers, workers, and TVET instructors in their specializations
  • Applies quality assurance tools and processes across the training cycle
  • Collaborates with other instructors

What it takes

  • A university degree of four years from an accredited educational institution in Fine Arts – Interior Architecture with major specialization in the field of subject taught
  • Experience: No experience required for Grade 11; Two years of progressively responsible relevant professional satisfactory teaching experience for Grade 12; Four years of progressively responsible relevant professional satisfactory teaching experience for Grade 13
  • Advanced university degree from an accredited educational institution in a subject relevant to his/her field of specialization or in education or psychology
