The role

Per Scholas is seeking a Technical Instructor (Cybersecurity) to train students for entry and mid-level roles in the field of Cyber Security. The role involves conducting 15-week training cycles, facilitating interactive hands-on labs, and managing student performance. Candidates must have expert knowledge in server management, networking, and security.

What you'll do

• Conduct 15-week cycles of technical training in Cyber Security
• Facilitate interactive, hands-on lab activities
• Manage and utilize a teaching assistant
• Provide student feedback and performance appraisals
• traker real-time student data entry in Salesforce.com
• Monitor and enforce program policies

What it takes

• Expert knowledge in server management, hardware, software, networking, skills
• CompTIA Security+ certification (or earn within 30 days)
• Experience teaching adults in an online environment
• Proficient in TCP/IP networking and Windows operating systems
• Familiarity with Linux, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Penetration Testing
• At least two years of professional experience in a security role
