Technical Advisor I – Productive Alliances Expert

The role

The Technical Advisor I – Productive Alliances Expert will provide technical advice and support across program design and implementation issues within their area of expertise. They will focus on fostering productive alliances between producer organizations, market actors, and service providers to advance high-quality programming for poor and vulnerable communities.

What you'll do

• Support the development and implementation of strategies, standards, tools, and best practices for productive alliances
• Provide technical assistance on the design and operationalization of productive alliances
• Contribute to the technical design and development of proposals
• Support capacity strengthening of staff, partners, and producer organizations
• Facilitate access to finance for producer organizations and alliance actors
• Collect, analyze, and utilize program and market data

What it takes

• Proficiency in MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), web conferencing applications, and information and budget management systems
• Experience in project design and proposal development
• Knowledge of capacity-strengthening best practices and experience with program monitoring, evaluation, and analysis
• Strong relationship management skills
• Good strategic, analytical, problem-solving, and systems thinking skills
• Proactive, resourceful, and results-oriented
