What you'll do
- Organizing technical meetings, seminars, workshops, and conferences to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration in relation to UNFC and UNRMS
- Developing comprehensive technical and policy documentation, publications, and case studies related to the implementation of UNFC and UNRMS
- Planning annual work programmes on UNFC and UNRMS, including milestones at semi-annual and quarterly periods
- Managing daily work programme on UNFC and UNRMS: Allocation of assignments, participant support, contracts, and evaluation
- Developing relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure outcomes and facilitate the evaluation of programmes of work
What it takes
- Advanced university degree in geology, mining/minerals/mineralogy, chemical or environmental engineering, earth sciences, geoscience, geochemistry, geophysics, petrology, or a related field
- At least seven years of progressively responsible experience in the management of energy and mineral resources or a related area
- At least three years of experience having worked with UNFC as part of a national or local government, international organization, private sector, academia, or civil society
- At least five years of experience working on critical raw materials
- Fluency in English is required; Russian or French is desirable
