Team Lead/Chief of Party

The role

FHI 360 is seeking a Team Lead/Chief of Party to provide technical, strategic, and operational leadership for an MCC-funded education quality assurance activity in Belize. The role involves managing large-scale international education programs and coordinating with government stakeholders. It focuses on improving educational systems, data management, and policy reform.

What you'll do

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the activity
• Serve as primary liaison with MCC, MCA-Belize, and MoEYSC
• Ensure coordination across all technical workstreams
• Lead annual work planning and risk management
• Oversee implementation of education quality assurance reforms
• Supervise multidisciplinary teams and consultants

What it takes

• Bachelor's degree or higher in education, public policy, or related field
• Minimum 12 years of experience including 8+ years managing large-scale programs
• Experience leading complex donor-funded education systems strengthening activities
• Strong experience working with ministries of education on institutional reform
• Experience with MCC-funded programs preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
