Team Lead/Charge for Mobile Blood Drive Operations

The role

Join the American Red Cross as a team lead/charge for mobile blood drive operations. Utilize leadership and healthcare/customer service skills to coach, mentor, instruct staff while performing blood collection duties.

What you'll do

• Coach, mentor, instruct blood collection staff
• Perform phlebotomy duties at mobile blood drives
• Ensure blood collected meets regulatory requirements
• Work independently with attention to detail
• Set up and tear down equipment for mobile blood drives

What it takes

• Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience (18 months to four years of work experience in a related field)
• Minimum 1 year leadership experience in environments with public interaction
• Phlebotomy experience is required
• Customer service experience, effective verbal communication and public relations skills are required
• Current valid driver's license and good driving record
• Basic computer skills, proficient with Microsoft office applications
