Teacher Resident

The role

The Teacher Resident program at Rocketship Public Schools is a one-year residency designed for aspiring teachers to gain hands-on classroom experience while earning a teaching certification through Loyola Marymount University. Residents work alongside mentor teachers to implement curricula, lead small-group interventions, and gradually assume full classroom responsibilities. The role offers a supportive pathway for career changers and recent graduates to transition into the teaching profession with potential for a full-time position upon completion.
