The role
Cancer Research UK is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to provide specialist advice on recruitment planning and delivery, focusing on sourcing high-quality candidates for roles up to middle management level.
What you'll do
- Deliver effective hiring in-line with Resourcing KPIs
- Proactively mitigate any risk where KPI’s are not being met
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers and advise on all stages of the recruitment process
- Work in partnership with Talent Acquisition Partners to ensure delivery of directorate specific resourcing plans
- Be an advocate of inclusive & cost effective hiring through sourcing candidates through a variety of recruiting channels
- Use MI to review the effectiveness of different attraction and sourcing channels

- Experience of delivering multiple, concurrent, end to end recruitment processes
- Proven experience within an in-house or outsourced resourcing function
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience of sourcing passive candidates directly to build a talent pipeline
- Experience of managing recruitment agency relationships
- Experienced in competency based interviewing and other selection techniques
