The role

The Swindon Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) is seeking a part-time coordinator to support the smooth running of the service, including client support, administrative duties, and crisis worker cover.

What you'll do

  • Central point of contact for the Manager and Team Leader of the service
  • Day to day co-ordination and delivery of all administration duties
  • Taking calls and liaising with clients and professionals
  • Completing follow up calls
  • Processing cases and referrals on the SARC Client Management System
  • Supporting clients of historic sexual assault or rape

What it takes

  • English Language and Mathematics GCSE or equivalent grade C or above
  • Demonstrable proficiency in Intermediate IT skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Experience and ability to design, maintain and develop administrative systems and spreadsheets / databases
  • Compassionate and empathetic with an ability to speak to people at a time of crisis
  • Affinity with ethos of the charity (Living in a society free from Sexual Violence)
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt according to the needs of the service
