The role

The Student Support Counselor (SSC) at KIPP Miami serves as a central figure in fostering a positive school culture by managing behavioral interventions and providing social-emotional support to students. The role involves case management, conducting FBAs, facilitating individual and group counseling, and collaborating with families and staff to ensure student success. The SSC also monitors academic progress and behavioral data to implement targeted interventions for students in need.
