What you'll do
- Provide ASL/English interpretation for various encounters including classes and workshops about health and wellness, art, employment and technology as well as events like BINGO and yoga.
- Shadow professional interpreters, receive mentorship, and participate in supervision and feedback sessions to strengthen interpreting skills.
- Work alongside teams in the Impact & Engagement department to foster a welcoming and supportive environment.

- Currently enrolled in an ASL/English Interpreter Training Program (associate or bachelor’s level).
- Advanced proficiency in ASL with coursework in interpretation completed or in progress.
- Prior experience in community service, non-profit or healthcare settings is a plus but not required.
