The role
The Stewardship Specialist, Principal Gifts will work as a member of the Stewardship team within the Donor Marketing & Engagement team, focusing on strategic thought partnership and tactical deployment of stewardship for the PRI supporter audience.
What you'll do
- Act as primary stewardship thought partner to the Principal Gifts team
- Operationalize an individualized supporter experience planning program
- Explore and activate/execute opportunities to steward and cultivate individual PRI supporters
- Oversee and deploy PRI stewardship communications
- Serve as first point of contact for PRI fundraisers
- Partner with Donor Marketing & Engagement team members
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of work experience in development focused on principal-level gifts
- Budgetary experience preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of donor relations/stewardship best practices
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize, oversee, and deploy donor relations/stewardship programming
- Strong communication skills
