STEM Explorations Enrichment Specialist - Elementary or Middle School

The role

DREAM is seeking an Enrichment Specialist to lead STEM-focused activities for students in grades Pre-K through 8. The role involves designing and delivering lesson plans that foster interest exploration and project-based learning. Candidates will work with youth workers and school leadership to create a cohesive, engaging experience for the students.

What you'll do

• Design and deliver lesson plans for enrichment activities aligned with the DREAM program model.
• Collaborate with Youth Workers and school leadership to provide a cohesive experience.
• Embed literacy throughout all instruction.
• Prepare materials and manage classroom cleanup.
• Encourage youth participation and serve as a role student model.
• Implement health and safety protocols and respond to incidents.

What it takes

• At least 18 years of age by the start date.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree or certification in related field preferred.
• 2+ years experience working with groups of youth, or similar experience preferred.
• Ability to independently plan and implement lessons in a specialty area.
• Strong passion for STEM and youth development.
• Excellent communication and skills.
• Ability to work in-person during all program hours.
