The role

The Southern Poverty Law Center is seeking a State Community Organizer, Georgia State Office (West Georgia) who is passionate about social justice. What you'll do

  • Plan and organize projects and events

  • Plan for future work by SPLC and in collaboration with other partners
  • Compile progress reports and community updates to stakeholders

  • Minimum 1 year of community organizing experience
  • Minimum 1 year working on campaigns and/or advocacy efforts
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated experience organizing communities, building grassroots networks, and cultivating strong partnerships with community leaders and organizations
