The role
The ICRC seeks a Staff Health Officer to join the team in Odesa, Ukraine, responsible for implementing the ICRC Staff Health Strategy and promoting the physical and mental well-being of staff.
What you'll do
- Conduct Staff Health briefings for all newly hired ICRC staff
- Assess and monitor living conditions across all sites
- Evaluate local medical facilities and establish a reliable referral network
- Provide confidential support and medical advice to ICRC staff
- Coordinate medical evacuations and ensure appropriate care during transport
- Implement and oversee staff health policies and procedures
What it takes
- Ukrainian citizenship or permanent residence permit
- Master’s degree in medicine (Medical Doctor)
- A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
- Experience in mental health care and stress management
- Practical experience with medical evacuation and patient transportation
- Knowledge of tropical health and public health systems
