The role
Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Sr. Accountant to manage general accounting processes and support financial audits in their Downtown Los Angeles Headquarters.
What you'll do
- Perform timely and accurate month-end closing of the general ledger
- Analyze financial results in comparison to the budget
- Reconcile accounts to their source documents
- Prepare and review journal entries as needed
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external reporting requirements
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License
- At least four (4) years general accounting experience
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or Accumatica General Ledger Systems
- Experience with FRX Reporting
- Experience with Excel and Word
