The role

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Rocketship Public Schools will work with elementary school students to screen, evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. This is a full-time position in Washington, DC.

What you'll do

  • Provide direct treatment to students' speech and language needs
  • Deliver pre-referral interventions in Tier 1 and Tier 2
  • Document and collect data on consultation sessions
  • Conduct student screenings and assessments
  • Develop and implement IEPs
  • Attend and participate in meetings

What it takes

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential
  • Master’s Degree
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment and passion for Rocketship’s mission
  • Supervision experience of a CF or SLPA preferred
