Special Response Specialist

The role

The Special Response Specialist works to locate youth who are absent from foster care placements by collaborating with law enforcement, DCF, and community stakeholders. The role involves conducting investigative social media searches, performing human trafficking assessments, and maintaining detailed documentation. The ideal candidate balances a detective-like investigative mindset with the empathy required for social work to support at-risk youth.
