The role
Rocketship Public Schools is seeking Special Education Teachers to support students with disabilities in an inclusive educational setting. Specialists will provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support, co-teach with general education teachers, and manage IEP caseloads.
What you'll do

- B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution
- Valid Special Education teaching credential (Mild/Moderate or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of experience working with children in special education, behavioral support, or related settings
- Knowledge of special education law, IDEA compliance, and effective inclusion practices
- Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Valid Education Specialist (Mild/Moderate Support Needs) credential or eligibility for a Provisional Internship Permit (PIP) or Short-Term Staff Permit (STSP)
