Special Education Teacher

The role

The Special Education Teacher (Education Specialist) at Rocketship Public Schools is responsible for providing individualized academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support to students with moderate to severe disabilities. This role involves managing a caseload, developing and facilitating compliant Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and collaborating with general education teachers and service providers to promote inclusive learning environments. The teacher also leads and coaches paraprofessionals while maintaining rigorous compliance with IDEA and state regulations.
