The role

The Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) Specialist (Ebola Preparedness and Response) will support the development and implementation of Ebola SBC/RCCE preparedness and response plans, community engagement, and rumor management in the Republic of Congo.

What you'll do

  • Support the development, implementation and monitoring of Ebola SBC/RCCE preparedness and response plans.
  • Develop and adapt Ebola communication messages and materials for different audiences.
  • Support the implementation of social listening and community-based surveillance initiatives.
  • Support the establishment and strengthening of community feedback mechanisms.

What it takes

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum three (3) years of relevant professional experience in SBC, RCCE, community engagement, emergency communication or public health.
  • Experience supporting epidemic preparedness and response activities.
  • Experience working with Ministries of Health, UN agencies, NGOs and community organizations.
