The role
The Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) Specialist (Ebola Preparedness and Response) will support the development and implementation of Ebola SBC/RCCE preparedness and response plans, community engagement, and rumor management in the Republic of Congo.
What you'll do
- Support the development, implementation and monitoring of Ebola SBC/RCCE preparedness and response plans.
- Develop and adapt Ebola communication messages and materials for different audiences.
- Support the implementation of social listening and community-based surveillance initiatives.
- Support the establishment and strengthening of community feedback mechanisms.

- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant professional experience in SBC, RCCE, community engagement, emergency communication or public health.
- Experience supporting epidemic preparedness and response activities.
- Experience working with Ministries of Health, UN agencies, NGOs and community organizations.
