The role
The consultant will provide short-term technical support to the Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Unit in planning, monitoring, reporting, information management and evaluation to support the effective implementation of the UNFPA 9th Country Programme.
What you'll do
- Support quality assurance of implementing partner Annual Work Plans
- Contribute to mid-year and annual reviews of the Country Programme
- Maintain and update monitoring and information management systems
- Provide technical support for programme staff and implementing partners
- Support field monitoring missions, Post-Distribution Monitoring exercises, assessments and other evidence generation activities
- Prepare analytical summaries, presentations and knowledge products
What it takes
- Completed Secondary Level Education required; A university degree at bachelor’s level or higher in statistics, development studies, economics, public health, population studies, demography and/or any other related social science discipline is desirable.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in results-based management
- Experience supporting the management of evaluation processes
- Experience supporting monitoring and reporting in humanitarian contexts; familiarity with the humanitarian-development-peace nexus is desirable
- Fluency in English and Filipino required
