The role

The Shelter Project Manager will be responsible for planning and implementing a high-quality shelter program in Northwest Syria, including emergency responses and transitional or permanent solutions.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience from a senior level project implementation position in managing Shelter programme in a humanitarian/recovery context

  • Experience with cash for shelter (cash for rent, cash for repair, cash for construction) and market-based approaches
  • Experience working in Northwest Syria (Idlib/Aleppo) or similar hard-to-reach areas
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of Project Cycle Management and team leadership
  • Experience applying Sphere Standards and utilising other relevant humanitarian frameworks and guidelines
