The role
The Shelf Stocker is responsible for accurately keeping track of inventory records of food products at the Great Lake Naval Training Center.
What you'll do
- Maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness and safety of the storerooms.
- Rotating stock and following the first in first out (FIFO) procedure.
- Completing Daily JOD Checklist
- Receiving vendor orders and inspecting products for quality.
- Verifying quantity to match invoices and reconciling electronic vendor invoices.
What it takes
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license, necessary insurance and ability to legally operate a Goodwill vehicle.
- Basic mathematic skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry for up to 3 feet.
- Full range of motion. Must be able to stay on feet for long periods of time.
- Independently push or pull a full pallet jack.
