The role
The role involves supporting the management of information and development of information products for local coordination teams and other humanitarian actors in Caquetá, Colombia, in coordination with OCHA and in alignment with EVIDEM+ strategy and tools.
What you'll do
- Support and provide technical assistance on information management processes to leaders and partners of Local Coordination Teams (ELC)
- Maintain updated directories/databases of partners and key actors in the territory
- Articulate with focal points of organizations and key local counterparts to ensure data exchange, coverage, reporting, and data quality
- Support the development of analytical products for decision-making
- Provide training, information, and periodic updates to local partners on the use and consultation of information in common tools, systems, and platforms
What it takes
- Professional degree in statistics, mathematics, data science, economics or related fields
- At least three years of experience in similar activities as described in the Terms of Reference, particularly in information management, data analysis, coordination, and humanitarian issues
- Experience in obtaining, processing, and analyzing primary and secondary information
- Experience in the development of analytical processes and technical reports
- Experience in the use of humanitarian information systems and platforms
- Fluency in Spanish, intermediate knowledge of English
