The role
The Senior Writer and Content Lead will lead OMF UK’s editorial planning, written content and storytelling across key communication channels, ensuring content is clear, accurate, mission-focused, pastorally sensitive, and aligned with OMF’s Christian ethos, values, and strategic priorities.
What you'll do
- Lead the planning, commissioning, writing, editing and delivery of OMF UK written content
- Develop and maintain a clear editorial calendar
- Oversee the written tone, quality and consistency of OMF UK content
- Write, edit and shape compelling stories, articles, interviews, news items, prayer resources, campaign copy, supporter communications and web content
- Line manage team members
- Ensure content is accurate, accessible, legally appropriate, pastorally wise and suitable for the intended audience
