The role
The Senior Technical Officer – Tuberculosis (TB) provides technical expertise and support for implementing and scaling up comprehensive TB prevention, screening, diagnosis, and treatment, within the EpiC Project in Tanzania.
What you'll do
- Provides technical support and strategic direction for TB interventions
- Ensures TB services are aligned with MOH/NTLP policies
- Strengthens integration of TB services within health platforms
- Monitors TB program performance and develops improvement plans
- Provides mentorship and supportive supervision
- Prepares technical reports and performance updates

- Medical Degree (MD) from a recognized institution
- Master’s degree in public health (MPH) or an international equivalent
- Minimum of six (6) years of progressive experience in TB and TB/HIV programming
- Experience providing technical assistance and capacity strengthening
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and utilize TB program data
- Experience mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior staff
