The role

The Senior Technical Consultant for the Chemicals Sector Baseline Study will develop technical development of a sectoral baseline study for the chemicals sector, providing methodological consistency with the Brazilian Sustainable Taxonomy (TSB) and supporting the Ministry of Finance of Brazil in defining regulatory norms.

What it takes

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related fields
  • Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related fields
  • Six years of professional experience in industrial GHG emissions accounting and sectoral baselines
  • Experience in formulating sectoral climate policy, sectoral baselines, or emissions benchmarking for industrial sectors
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese
  • Outstanding communication skills
