The role
The Center for Justice Innovation is seeking a Senior Social Worker to join a team that provides neutral, third-party assessments and case management services to the Manhattan Felony Alternative to Incarceration (ATI) Court.
What you'll do
- Conduct detailed clinical assessments
- Develop treatment recommendations
- Provide comprehensive, clinically-informed case management services
- Make appropriate community-based referrals
- Manage and monitor compliance with treatment mandates
- Supervise and provide support to case managers and social workers
What it takes
- LMSW and a minimum of five years' experience
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a social justice or social services setting
- SIFI-certified or eligible
- Experience in a court or criminal justice setting
- Commitment to holistic and strengths-based approaches
- Experience working with drug/alcohol treatment, mental health services, co-occurring disorders, trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches
