The role
The Senior Social Media Project Manager will support the Communications department’s social media strategy and annual plan, while also providing project management support for broader communications initiatives as needed.
What you'll do
- Partner with the Senior Marketing Manager to plan and execute social media initiatives and campaigns.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, establishing scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, roles, dependencies, and communication plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and lead project kickoffs, status meetings, and retrospectives.
- Build and manage project workflows in Asana, tracking deliverables, dependencies, resources, risks, and changing priorities.
- Support content and campaign workflows from development through review, approval, and publication.
- Develop project documentation, processes, dashboards, and reporting.
What it takes
- 4+ years of experience in social media project management or similar role
- 2+ years of experience working remotely with a distributed team
- Experience using Asana and the Google suite
- Strong project management skills: prioritization, organization, planning, time management, stakeholder management, facilitation, problem solving, and decision-making
- Familiarity and comfort with different communication styles, experience with various cultures and projects crossing multiple time zones
- Ability to anticipate risks, build relationships and trust, influence without authority, and effectively enforce accountability
