The role

The Senior Researcher will contribute to the EU Industry team’s work to accelerate the decarbonisation and transformation of European industry in line with climate neutrality, competitiveness and resilience.

What you'll do

  • Conduct research and analysis on EU industrial decarbonisation and industrial policy
  • Develop practical policy recommendations and contribute to political strategies
  • Monitor relevant EU policy and political developments
  • Produce clear, accessible briefings, reports, presentations and other materials
  • Engage policymakers, industry, civil society and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the delivery of projects, partnerships and coalitions

What it takes

  • Three to five years of relevant professional experience
  • A degree, professional qualification or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge and practical experience in relevant areas
  • A good understanding of EU politics, institutions and policy processes
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Experience engaging external stakeholders and confidence working with policymakers and experts
