The role

The Senior Research Officer will support the management and delivery of REACH's multi-sector assessment portfolio in Mozambique, focusing on generating evidence to inform humanitarian planning, response prioritisation, and strategic decision-making.

What you'll do

Managing research cycles and overseeing research design, data collection, and analysis
Leading the research cycle including research design, tool development, and data collection
Promoting capacity building and providing day-to-day management of the research team
Interacting with HQ departments and external stakeholders
Ensuring confidentiality and security of data

What it takes

3-4 years of relevant working experience in a humanitarian setting
Excellent quantitative and qualitative research data analysis experience
Familiarity with the aid system and research community
Thematic experience with multisectoral assessment
Excellent verbal and written communication and drafting skills
Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
