The role
The Senior Regional Technical Officer (SRTO), Community Engagement provides strategic technical leadership and oversight for the implementation of community-based HIV prevention, linkage, care, treatment, and continuity of care interventions.
What you'll do
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of regional strategies to strengthen ART retention.
- Provide technical leadership for community engagement, demand generation, and communication interventions.
- Lead multidisciplinary review of program performance data and drive corrective action plans.
- Develop, implement, and oversee regional community engagement strategies and operational plans.
- Serve as the regional focal point for community engagement and represent the project at high-level technical forums.
What it takes
- Master’s Degree or its international equivalent in social science, international development, health, or related field.
- 6+ years of progressive responsible experience in community-based health programming.
- Demonstrated experience working with NGOs, CSOs, CHWs, government agencies, or private companies.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Swahili.
- Project management certification preferred.
- Ability to travel extensively in-country.
