The role
The Senior Regional Technical Officer - Clinical Services provides technical leadership and clinical guidance for the implementation of comprehensive HIV and TB services under the EpiC project in Tanzania.
What you'll do
- Provide technical oversight to ensure clinical service components are implemented in accordance with project objectives
- Provide technical support, supervision, and coordination of council activities
- Build district capacity in program management and technical areas
- Provide technical input into strategic planning and reporting
- Provide technical assistance to health facilities
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders
What it takes
- Degree in Medicine or related field with relevant national registration
- Master’s degree in public health (MPH) or international equivalent
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in HIV/TB clinical services
- Proven experience in HIV/TB program implementation, clinical mentorship, and supportive supervision
- Experience working with MOH, R/CHMT, healthcare facilities, CSOs, and implementing partners
- Experience in program monitoring, data analysis, reporting, and use of data for service improvement
