The role
The Senior Project Officer - MEAL will coordinate and report on all project MEAL activities, provide technical guidance, and ensure best practices are applied to improve the impact of the project’s benefits to the poor and vulnerable in Uganda.
What you'll do
- Organize and lead the implementation of all assigned project MEAL activities
- Ensure learning and accountability through project activities
- Support the roll-out and implementation of the project’s feedback, complaints and response mechanism
- Support the collection, analysis, validation, and reporting of project and milestone data
- Coordinate and facilitate national and sub-national consultations
- Provide technical assistance and mentoring to government MEAL personnel and local partners

- Ability to travel up to 30% to project locations and field offices outside Kampala
- 3-4 years of experience in MEAL
- Demonstrated understanding of government-led monitoring and information systems

- Ability to effectively use MS Windows and MS Office packages
