The role
The Senior Programme Management Officer will lead the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of cooperation and partnership initiatives supporting Security Council Resolution 2793 (2024), including partnership-based operational support provided through UNSOH to the GSF.

- Lead the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of cooperation and partnership initiatives.
- Oversee and coordinate UNSOH partnership initiatives and major partnership-based operational support activities.
- Develop, implement and evaluate assigned programmes/projects.
- Coordinate and strengthen cooperation on major partnership-based operational support initiatives with key partners outside the United Nations Secretariat.
- Ensure implementation of gender mainstreaming guidelines.
- Undertake survey initiatives; guide design of data collection instruments.

- An Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in public administration, management, economics, law, political or social sciences or a related field is required.
- A minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in project or programme management, administration or related area is required.
- Experience supporting or coordinating the implementation of mandates in a field, country, or regional context is required.
- Experience establishing, coordinating, and maintaining strategic partnerships with national authorities, UN entities, international organizations, donors, and other stakeholders to support operational mandate delivery is required.
- Experience managing institutional and operational support partnership related programmes in or with an international organization, regional or sub-regional organizations is required.
- Experience in contributing to the UN's systemwide response to crisis or emergency situations is required.
