The role
The incumbent will assist the supervisor in planning, organizing, staffing and managing the Logistics Office to ensure logistics services are provided across the Field with optimal efficiency and cost. Responsibilities include distribution and warehousing management, fleet management, and participating in field office proposal development.

- Assist in planning, organizing, staffing, and managing the Logistics Office to ensure optimal efficiency and cost.
- Manage distribution and warehousing processes including receipt, quality control, sale of surplus equipment, stock control, and warehouse improvements.
- Supervise fleet management operations, ensuring vehicle maintenance and efficient usage.
- Participate in field office proposal development and budget preparation.
- Provide technical advice on logistics matters to other departments.
What it takes
- Advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) from an accredited educational institution in supply chain management, transport management, engineering, business administration, public administration, commerce or related field.
- At least seven years’ of progressively responsible and professional work experience in administration and operation of a complex logistics office, with at least three years in a supervisory position.
- Experience in port operations and customs clearance procedures is desirable.
- Knowledgeable in the overall business environment of the host country and relevant laws, regulations, and practices.
