The role
The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is seeking a Senior National Service Officer-Appeals to provide advocacy and legal support for veterans and their families in benefits appeals before the Department of Veterans Affairs.
What you'll do
- Draft decisions for review by Veterans Law Judges
- Ensure proper drafting, editing, and management of appealed issues
- Review and evaluate medical and lay evidence
- Manage appeals dockets and distribute information
- Prepare appellate briefs and conduct hearings

- Juris Doctorate may be considered
