The role

The Senior Migration Health Associate (Project MERLA) is responsible for supporting the quality implementation of IOM’s health programming in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) through data analysis, coordination, and capacity building activities.

What you'll do

  • Analyze data and information using statistical and analytical techniques
  • Provide technical support for knowledge building and management
  • Plan and implement Data Quality Control (DQC) / Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities
  • Develop and maintain updated and reliable project databases
  • Plan and implement capacity building activities
  • Support project evaluation activities

What it takes

  • University degree in epidemiology, public health, biostatistics or analytics, engineering, data science, social sciences, or health statistic-related disciplines
  • Experience in programme support, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and coordination of public health activities
  • Experience in developing, reviewing, and updating M&E frameworks
  • Experience in humanitarian or development operations and/or Government Social or Health Services
  • Fluency in English and Filipino
  • Relevant accreditation/certification or formal training in areas related to health information, monitoring and evaluation, research methodologies, and data analysis
