The Senior Managing Director, Humanitarian Portfolio will lead and oversee Save the Children US’s humanitarian portfolio ensuring high-quality, compliant, on-time, and on-budget delivery.
What you'll do
- Lead team ensuring high-quality project delivery on time and within budget
- Ensure program interventions align with technical best practices and humanitarian standards
- Manage rapid emergency responses and operational adjustments
- Oversee financial management, donor compliance, and award/grant management
- Collaborate with SCUS leaders to standardize processes and improve strategic linkages

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus at least 13 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience within humanitarian context overseeing large and complex USG projects
- Strong knowledge of USG humanitarian funding modalities and compliance
- Experience leading, managing, and developing high-performing teams
