The role

DanChurchAid is seeking a Senior Liaison Advisor EU - Global Partnerships and Resource Mobilization to lead strategic engagement with EU institutions and stakeholders, focusing on DG INTPA, DG ECHO, and other relevant actors.

What you'll do

  • Lead and strengthen DCA's strategic engagement with EU institutions and stakeholders in Brussels
  • Facilitate strategic networking and engagement between EU stakeholders, DCA Headquarters, country offices, and partner organizations
  • Lead and support the identification, cultivation, and pursuit of EU funding opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key EU stakeholders, donors, networks, and strategic partners
  • Represent DCA in relevant external forums, networks, and platforms
  • Develop and disseminate strategic briefs, analyses, and updates on EU policy developments

What it takes

  • Minimum of five years of experience including documented experience with leading EU projects and relationships
  • Proven experience with major institutional donors including proposal development, donor liaison and grants management
  • Documented experience with stakeholder management and external representation
  • Strong background in quality assurance and reporting of international projects
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Willingness to work up to 40% of your time from Brussels and frequent travel to DCA country offices
