The role
IDB Invest is seeking a Senior Investment Officer to support the sustainable development of Latin America and the Caribbean through origination, structuring, and execution of infrastructure projects.
What you'll do
- Identify and originate new opportunities by targeting clients aligned with IDB Invest’s mandate.
- Prepare and deliver tailored client pitches and financial solutions.
- Screen and evaluate lending, investment, and advisory opportunities.
- Support due diligence, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and development of projection models.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing transaction documentation.
What it takes
- Master’s (or equivalent advanced degree) in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, International Development, or other relevant fields.
- At least five years of relevant professional experience as an investment officer.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English, spoken and written.
- Citizenship eligible to work without sponsorship.
