The role

The position is located in the Crisis Response Division (CRD), Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Kabul, Afghanistan. The incumbent will act as Deputy Head of Office for OCHA Afghanistan, covering files related to strategic coordination, field coordination, communication, humanitarian financing, and information management.

  • Experience working with Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) policies and processes
  • Experience in Asia and the Pacific region is desirable
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), French, Russian, or Spanish
