The role
The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is seeking a Senior Government & Community Relations Event Planning Specialist to lead the planning and execution of strategic events for the Government and Community Relations team.
What you'll do
- Lead the planning and execution of large-scale, high-profile WWP GCR events
- Prepare WWP senior leaders for major GCR-led conferences
- Manage event budgets and staffing
- Oversee the development and review of promotional materials
- Create and maintain event schedules, timelines, agendas, and activity plans
- Provide on-the-ground support and coordinate teammates and contract personnel

- Five years of experience in event planning and management
- Three years of experience with event registration and management software
- Experience in government & community relations or similar fields
