What you'll do
- Conducting economic and financial analyses with autonomy
- Supporting the design and structuring of innovative financial mechanisms (blended finance, guarantee funds, green bonds, etc.) for forest restoration and sustainable land use projects
- Monitoring project results and indicators
- Collaborating with value chain teams and other program areas to connect financial instruments to DCF priorities
- Representing WRI Brasil in technical meetings, workshops, and external events related to sustainable finance and the financial market
What it takes
- Bachelor's degree completed, preferably a master's degree in Economics, Finance, Management, Forest Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related fields
- 5 years of experience in the field or similar role
- Solid experience in sustainable finance, financial modeling, and structuring of financial mechanisms (blended finance, guarantee funds, green bonds, etc.)
- Experience developing business models and knowledge of the financial market and investments
- Knowledge of statistical and econometric methods and data analysis tools (Stata, Python, R, advanced Excel)
